Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website boldmove.pro and all plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, bathroom remodelling, water heater installation, and general property maintenance services provided by Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd (Company Registration No. 202301045678) ("the Company", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you ("the Client", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
1. Scope of Services
Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd provides professional plumbing repairs, electrical solutions, waterproofing, bathroom remodelling, water heater services, and general property maintenance for residential and commercial properties across Kuala Lumpur and the greater Klang Valley. The specific scope of work for each engagement is defined in the written quotation or service agreement provided to the Client prior to commencement of work.
We reserve the right to decline any service request at our sole discretion, including but not limited to situations where the requested work falls outside our area of expertise, poses an unreasonable safety risk, or involves properties located outside our service area.
2. Quotations and Estimates
All quotations provided by Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd are based on the information available at the time of the site inspection or initial consultation. Quotations are valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. After the validity period, we reserve the right to revise the quoted price to reflect changes in material costs, labour availability, or scope of work.
Quotations represent our best estimate of the cost to complete the specified work. In the event that unforeseen conditions are discovered during the course of work (such as concealed water damage, faulty wiring behind walls, or structural issues not visible during the initial inspection), we will inform you promptly and provide a revised quotation for any additional work required. No additional work will be carried out without your prior written or verbal approval.
Free estimates provided over the phone or via WhatsApp are approximate and non-binding. A binding quotation is issued only after a physical site inspection has been conducted by our technician.
3. Scheduling and Access
We will use reasonable efforts to schedule service appointments at a time convenient to you, subject to technician availability. Scheduled appointment times are estimates, and while we strive to be punctual, delays may occur due to traffic conditions, overruns on preceding jobs, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as practicable if a significant delay is anticipated.
You are responsible for ensuring that our technicians have safe and unobstructed access to the work area. This includes clearing furniture, personal belongings, and other items from the immediate vicinity of the work site. If access is not available at the scheduled time, or if our technicians are unable to commence work due to conditions at the property, a rebooking fee of up to RM 80 may be charged to cover the cost of the wasted trip.
For emergency call-outs outside normal business hours (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM), an after-hours surcharge applies. The surcharge amount will be communicated to you by our dispatcher before a technician is sent to your location.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Small Repairs (under RM 2,000): Full payment is due upon completion of the work. Payment may be made by cash, bank transfer, credit card, debit card, or online banking.
- Medium Projects (RM 2,000 to RM 10,000): A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the quoted amount is due before work commences. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work.
- Large Projects (over RM 10,000): Payment is structured in three stages — a thirty percent (30%) deposit before commencement, a forty percent (40%) progress payment at the midpoint of the project, and the remaining thirty percent (30%) upon completion and final inspection.
All prices quoted are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Invoices that remain unpaid beyond fourteen (14) days from the due date will incur a late payment fee of one and a half percent (1.5%) per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate ongoing work if payments are not received according to the agreed schedule.
5. Cancellation by the Client
You may cancel a scheduled appointment free of charge provided you give us at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than twenty-four hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of RM 50 to cover administrative and scheduling costs. For ongoing projects, cancellation terms will be specified in the project agreement. Materials already purchased specifically for your project that cannot be returned to the supplier will be charged to you at cost.
6. Warranty on Workmanship and Materials
Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd stands behind the quality of its work. The following warranty terms apply:
- Workmanship Warranty: All repair work is covered by a minimum ninety (90) day workmanship warranty from the date of completion. Renovation and installation projects carry a twelve (12) month workmanship warranty.
- Materials Warranty: Materials and parts supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we will pass through to you. We will assist you in making warranty claims with the manufacturer where applicable.
- Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications, natural disasters, pest damage, or normal wear and tear. The warranty is void if the Client or a third party tampers with or modifies the completed work without our prior written consent.
To make a warranty claim, please contact us at [email protected] with your invoice number, a description of the issue, and photographs if available. We will arrange an inspection within five (5) business days and carry out any necessary rectification at no additional cost if the issue falls within the scope of our warranty.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, business interruption, or damage to property not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that specific engagement. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
We shall not be held liable for delays, failures, or deficiencies in service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, strikes, or utility outages.
8. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing accurate information about the nature and location of the issue to be addressed. The Client must disclose any known hazards at the property, including the presence of asbestos, structural instability, pest infestations, or any other conditions that may affect the safety of our technicians. The Client must ensure that valid permits or approvals required for the work (such as renovation permits from building management) are obtained prior to commencement of work, unless we have expressly agreed to obtain such permits on your behalf.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the boldmove.pro website, including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, photographs, audio and video clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd or its content suppliers and is protected by Malaysian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, or otherwise use any content from our website without our prior written permission.
Design plans, technical drawings, and custom solutions prepared by our team for your project remain our intellectual property unless expressly assigned to you in writing. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use such materials solely for the purpose of the specific project for which they were created.
10. Use of Website
You agree to use the boldmove.pro website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the website by, any third party. You shall not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, servers, or databases, introduce viruses or other malicious code, or use automated tools to scrape or extract content from our website.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience and reference. These links do not constitute an endorsement of the content, products, or services offered by those third parties. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites and accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of them.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services provided by Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between the Client and Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may refer the matter to mediation administered by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur. If mediation fails to resolve the dispute within a further sixty (60) days, either party may commence legal proceedings in the courts of Malaysia.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent of the parties.
15. Modifications to These Terms
Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice through email or a prominent announcement on our website.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any written quotation or service agreement provided to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bold Move Property Solutions Sdn Bhd regarding your use of our website and services. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written, between the parties relating to the subject matter herein.
